Its peaceful to walk thru the small park.Birds singing..The sounds of waves from the ocean..
Great park that has a little shop for food & drinks etc good size play area for the kids that is fenced off & closed so you don't have to worry to much about them wandering off! Lots of locals smoking weed in the park but this has been going on since I was a kid am 51yr now!
Quite a good area, has lots of greenery to play on, but it is slanted. Does have a play area for kids. It also has a small mountain bike trail. Very nice place for a stroll.
Great playground for all ages. Cool woods to walk in and make dens in and climb the trees. Mounds for good bike terrain. A very welcoming cafe 'Alison's", with great service and prices. The locals favourite from Spring to Autumn. All outdoors, so very child and dog friendly.New toilet block including a disabled toilet.Italianate greenhouse with exotic plants. Cream teas served here on summer weekends and at the cafe from Spring to Autumn everyday, cheaper and better value.. Sir Moses Montefiore lived here and was a great Jewish benefactor leaving his land as a park.
Lovely park, that is well used by the community. The Italianate Greenhouse is well worth a visit. Good for walking and playing with dog. Enclosed child's play area. Toilets on site. Caf is really good too. Would give 5 stars but when weather is good people tend to leave rubbish behind after picnics. Bins can be overflowing.
