Used to go there
I remember when there was a shallow lake there as this is what the bridge was for, has long since been filled in. Good park to take the kids but watch out for irresponsible dog owners who do not clean up after there dogs, can be a bit if a minefield sometimes! One thing I don't like is the transport containers selling books etc fine to sell whatever you want but they make the park look terrible whoever had this idea of putting them there should have thought about it a bit longer. Maybe paint them so they look better instead of them looking like they fell off a lorry! Get a local school & some young kids to paint them am sure they would look 100 times better than they do now?
My daughter loves playing on this but it's in dire need of restoration
I loved playing on here as a child and am delighted to see it is still there and maintained by the wonderful volunteers
