New patient but so far staff been excellent sorted script for hubby in a hurry as in pain,helpful polite extremely busy,bet some on phones are rude to them too,they do their best.
The staff need traing on how to respond when someone calls for inquiries Ie when calling to make an appointment for my grandson the person I spoke to nearly snapped my head off because I didn't say at the start I wanted an appointment out of school hours! As she did not give me a chance at the start of the call and was rushing me I don't see how I was supposed to tell her! It seems whenever I have had to phone the surgery they feel put out talking to you before you even start! And the car park is s jokeThe disabled bays are far too small and unless you can get out of your car and step onto gravel I don't see how a wheelchair user would manage! Overall poor and if I could have given minus stars I would have!
Absolutely shocking staff on the phones. Literally talk down to you like dirt when your in need of help. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you like feeling neglected and insulted.
As people keep saying the doctors are good not to have to call this many times and not get through its rediculous, never have I ever had to call up in previous doctors at 8 am and not have a chance of getting seen. In my old doctors I could call at 2pm and get an appointment same day. Because there organised and better.... Rang newington surgery 212 times no answer, receptionist is rude as hell
I came to this surgery after being with a really bad one. I was show such kind and caring doctors. Yes i have had problems with appointments but i have also gone up there really ill and been seen on the day. As for the reception staff always been kind and helpful.
