Scam-artists - avoid this dishonest garage. They quoted me around 70 to change the crankshaft. After working on it for a few minutes they told me they didn't have a tool to remove a screw to displace the part and that the job is therefore going to take twice as long as they have to remove the motor. I was given no choice but to let them continue as I had an interview and they knew I had to agree. They ended up charging me 140 just for labour. They said it took 2 hours when I was actually observing them while I waited and they weren't at my car more than 30 minutes, yet they charged me for 2 hours. Every other garage I spoke to said it shouldn't take more than 1 hour to do. They also like to tell you they can't do it today so when they eventually do it you are grateful. They also show you what appear to be reasonable hourly rates but then take twice as long to do the job while encouraging you to go away so you don't see how long they actually take doing the job.
Fixed my car but not helpful in sourcing parts. Was recommended by RAC not sure how that came about!! Told me more work needed which when checked out further wasn't true. :(
They're incredibly helpful, and more friendly than other car traders. Excellent service. I highly recommend.
Trouble with BMW 320i . Had three visits to other garages who all identified misfire in cylinder 4 but did not cure fault. Left car at Pierremonts Ramsgate and within a couple of hours , phone call to come and collect. Fault found - Fault cured and now running perfect. Great service all round from reception to workshop. My first call garage from now on.
