Superb food and service. Quirky decor with roaring fire. We loved it and will go back.
Simply amazing, one of the best meals Ive ever had. A quirky restaurant where you could order anything and know it will be nice. The scotch egg starter was absolutely delicious, as were the sea bass main and poached pear dessert. A prime example of simple food made special.
Not so good as in my previous experience. The pork belly was disappointed. Very very fatty, and floated in gravy, and the crackling very tiny, and a different receipt as previous. Desert, the apple crumble, boring. The crumple look more like shredded biscuits. So score only 4 from 10. I will go back and see if any remedy. Good luck
A lucky find while we were staying in Ramsgate for a few nights. It's a small basement restaurant decorated with Empire (British) type memorabilia and is nice and cosy. The food we had was amazing, and with a bottle of wine and a few beers was under 100 for two of us. We will definitely return when next in the area and would recommend to anyone.
