Enjoyed watching a film here tonight Comfortable and nice to not be ripped off with sweets and drinks. Will be watching films here more often.
Great cinema, never too packed and fairly priced.
It was wonderful but sadly very poorly supported. The Granville is always first to show the latest films and a much better cinematic experience than some more modern cinemas. Long may it continue.
The Panto was uninteresting, not fun packed. The female lead (3) appeared to be in a singing competition. This was not a Panto it came across like a very bad musical. Also one of the little people was as tall as snow white. I left the theatre during the interval.
Amazing cinema built in 1947 from reclaimed bricks(!) Only 4 quid a ticket, and it's pretty comfortable. If you're the only punter, you'll need to buy two tickets. Worth going to help make sure this place survives. (And actually check the listings on the website, because Google doesn't seem to show everything thats on)
