Booked our Xmas party hear my wife went outside for a cigarette when returning into the building she was asked to be searched for drugs! After making her take off her shoes and emptying her bag in front of everyone they found a piece of lego and a straw off of a carton of orange juice this in there eyes was DRUG PARAFINALIER and was asked to leave f*****g Realy ! Totally ruined our staff Xmas party we only had a chance to eat our starters and they were poor.
Unfortunately one of the people in our party has allergies, the restaurant was notified of this at the time of booking plus it was followed up by an email. But the food came out with sesame oil on the potatoes which could have had major consequences if they were eaten!!! It would have been horrendous. The manager was called and he gave our table a bottle of prosecco and didn't charge for the food that was at fault but it did spoil our evening and the person with the allergy consequently had nothing to eat... They need to step up their knowledge of the severity that could have happened.
good to visit once every 3 months. but the restaurant is not that great. the food is below average on busy nights but ok when quiet. if you are planning a meal there make sure it's not the weekend. otherwise eat in nearby restaurants.
Very good atmosphere. Bartenders were friendly and made you feel welcome. Will definitely be going there again
