A really nice place in general, usually fairly lively and staff are mostly friendly and helpful, food is never to long and is cooked to a good standard, only issue I have faced is with their customer service and complaint department of which I still have no reply from after I was sadly given an incorrect order of which caused me serious medical issues, I wasn't after compensation but just that staff should make sure the order is 100% to what the customer has asked for and if not available make the customer aware of this change. Hence my stars sadly
Probably the most efficient Spoons I've been to yet. I hardly had to wait to be served as the staff were on hand ready to take my order, they were friendly, welcoming and I'd like to say a big thank you to Jade (I think you're name was Jade) who literally did not stop. The girl is a machine and deserves Bar Maid of the year award The food was fantastic and the pub was overall very clean. I would however suggest someone give the overhanging glass rack a dust A little note to anyone who visits the spoons in Ramsgate, if you're ordering food and you're upstairs, you need to order from the bar upstairs.With regards to the "app service" Spoons Ramsgate has thoroughly embraced it and it works. Personally, I did not use it because there was no need, there were plenty of staff behind the bar and although busy, the bars were never packed out with customers. I say the app worked because I witnessed people using it and witnessed staff delivering drinks with a smile.Five stars from me
We couldn't believe the speed of service we received. The food was on our table before I got back from the self service hot drinks! The gin and ginger cocktail was delicious. All our meals (4) were tasty, well cooked and great value for money. I like the idea of a mini dessert. If only they did decaf and didn't support Brexit my world would be complete!!
What a beautiful job they have made of transforming the old casino into a Weatherspoons. Great big places with plenty of lighting, not too hot, not too loud. The food looked reasonable and the drinks not too pricey. There is a lovely terrace to sit outside in the summer. We will definitely be back in the warmer weather!
Awesome place with unexpectedly good food and wide range of beers. We're impressed by the knowledge of the bar staff, together with the quality of the breakfasts served. I wouldn't generally recommended Wetherspoons for food but this is special. The building is also highly atmospheric and the numerous pictures and information on the walls make it really interesting. Highly recommended
